Dry Desulfurization
Biogas desulfurization uses a dry desulfurization and continuous regeneration process to remove H₂S from biogas. The biogas desulfurization process involves the following: At room temperature, sulfur-containing biogas flows at a low velocity from the bottom through the seasoning layer within the vessel. Hydrogen sulfide in the biogas comes into contact with iron oxide, and the hydrogen sulfide oxidizes into sulfur or sulfur oxides.
After a period of operation, the equipment's internal packing is oxygenated to reduce the oxygen. This desulfurization and regeneration process can be repeated multiple times. The purified biogas is discharged from the top of the tower and transported via pipelines to the biogas generator room for power generation, boiler heating, purification, and incorporation into the national pipeline network.
